Wool Mittens Black/Gray/Star Pattern, Large Size SOLD Cardigan Mountain 100% Wool Mittens These were made by my 85 year old mother using patterns that HER mother used. It takes her about two weeks to make a pair. They are knit tight on 4 needles, no seams, and two colors (double thicknness), so they are very warm. I still have a pair made by my grandmother that are over 50 years old. They are 100% wool, with yarn made from my friend's sheep here in New Hampshire. They are thick and very warm. The pair pictured here is the one you will receive. The colors are black and light gray. These are a larger size, and very thick and warm.
